From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

Customers come back for this one, and plenty of them end up buying it by the pound. We tell people is not to keep it for hot tea only. This makes an incredibly refreshing black iced tea.

Other teas that peach lovers like: Peachy Keen Oolong is the lighter, more delicate take on the same stone fruit, and Apricot Black Decaf is the caffeine free version. Over ice the fruit holds its ground. You get a full cup rather than a thin one.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz, 212°F, steep 3 to 5 minutes. Black tea needs the full boil.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 8 to 12 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!

Beyond the Cup: Make Something Tasty with This Peach and Apricot Tea

Peachy Iced Tea Latte

Serves 5

Ripe peaches get crushed into a jammy base for Apricots & Peaches Organic Black tea, then poured over ice with a drizzle of cream.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups water
  • 5 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 4 tbsp Apricots & Peaches Organic Black tea
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, place the peaches in a large bowl with the sugar. Crush into a thick, jam-like liquid.
  3. Sprinkle in the tea.
  4. Pour the hot water over the fruit and tea and steep for 5 minutes.
  5. Place 5 cups of ice in a large pitcher and strain the peach infused tea concentrate over the ice. The ice will immediately melt, diluting the concentrate and cooling the tea.
  6. Drizzle in a tablespoon of cream to make an iced tea latte.
  7. Serve over ice in a tall glass.
