Mango Peach Organic Green Tea

$7.00

GREEN TEA | LOW CAFFEINE | ORGANIC | MANGO & PEACH

This is a good tea in February. It is the tea you want in August. The mango and peach taste like fruit you would eat standing over the sink, the peppermint adds enough cool to take the edge off a hot afternoon, and the green tea tastes light. None of that stops working in February. It just matters more in August.

Sold in 1 oz quantities. Makes 6-10 cups of tea.

From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

Mango Peach is our best seller, and people find it no matter where we put it. We have featured it up front, tucked it into the green tea section, and moved it to different shelves, and none of that has ever slowed it down. Customers come in asking for it by name, and if they are running low at home they know exactly where they are headed. It also has a way of leading people to other favorites, so peach drinkers often leave with Peachy Keen Oolong and mango lovers with Mango Tango Organic Black Tea. Once summer arrives, all three are what we cold brew overnight.

  • How to brew it hot

Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Heat your water to 175-180°F and steep for 2-3 minutes. Green tea turns bitter when the water runs too hot.

  • How to make iced tea

Use 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Heat your water to 175-180°F and steep for 2-3 minutes, then pour over a full glass of ice. The extra leaf keeps the cup from thinning out as the ice melts.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Steep in your fridge for 3 to 6 hours. Strain out the leaves and enjoy! Cold water pulls a smoother cup with no bitterness.
