AYURVEDIC TEA | TRACE CAFFEINE | BONE, NAIL AND HAIR SUPPORT

The bones you have at 70 are built on what you do for them now. Most of us never think about it until a scan or a break makes us.

This is the cup for getting ahead of it. Horsetail and nettle are among the richest plant sources of silica, the mineral your body uses to build bone density and connective tissue*. The payoff you notice first is in your nails and hair. Real structural support, built into a daily cup.

Sold in 1oz quantities. Each oz makes 6 to 10 cups of tea.

Unlock the Full Benefit of this Tea

This is not an everyday forever cup. Because this blend contains horsetail, drink it in cycles, three weeks on, one full week off, before starting again. This is how tonic herbs with diuretic properties work best and how you avoid the depletion that comes with continuous use.

The two-steep daily ritual: use the same leaves twice. Steep covered for 10 to 15 minutes in water just off the boil. Horsetail and nettle need longer than most herbs to release their minerals and keeping the cup covered holds them in. Let it cool to room temperature and sip it slowly and intentionally, taking about 10 minutes to finish the cup. Three to four hours later steep the same leaves again for 15 minutes, covered. Drink that cup at room temperature too, the same way.

Pair it with a squeeze of lemon. Vitamin C helps your body absorb the minerals in this cup. A little lemon in the cup makes a real difference.

Move your body alongside it. Bone responds to demand. Walking, yoga, resistance training signal to your body that it needs those minerals. The tea supplies them. Movement tells your body to use them.

Manage your stress. Chronic stress raises cortisol and cortisol directly inhibits bone formation. Ashwagandha in this blend addresses that from the inside. What you do outside the cup matters too.

  • Why does this tea work?

Horsetail leaf: one of nature's richest plant sources of silica, the mineral your body draws on to build bone density, collagen, nails and hair.

Hadjod: its name means bone-setter. The classic Ayurvedic bone herb, used for generations specifically to support bone strength and healing.

    Nettle leaf:
deeply mineral-rich with iron, calcium and magnesium, traditionally used as a whole-body tonic. Backs up horsetail on the mineral front and also supports liver function and mineral absorption.

Arjuna bark: primarily known as an Ayurvedic heart herb, included here because healthy cardiovascular function supports the circulation that delivers minerals to bone tissue.

Red clover: contains isoflavones, plant compounds that mimic estrogen in the body. During menopause when estrogen decline accelerates bone loss, red clover's phytoestrogenic activity is traditionally associated with slowing that process.

Gotu kola: traditionally linked to collagen production and healthy connective tissue. Where horsetail builds the mineral framework, gotu kola supports the collagen matrix that holds it together.

Dandelion leaf and flower: mineral-dense and bitter, traditionally used to support digestion and liver function so your body can actually absorb and use the minerals in this cup.

Raspberry leaf: rich in calcium and magnesium, traditionally used as a mineral-rich women's tonic with particular relevance during perimenopause and menopause.

    Hawthorn berry:
supports healthy circulation, which matters for bone health because bones depend on good blood flow to receive the minerals they need.

Ashwagandha: chronic stress elevates cortisol, and elevated cortisol directly inhibits bone formation. Ashwagandha is here to address that, an adaptogen that helps regulate the stress response so the bone-building herbs can do their work.

Galangal, lemongrass, peppermint and green tea: warming and brightening herbs that make a very mineral-heavy, earthy blend genuinely pleasant to drink every day. Green tea also brings trace antioxidants and a small amount of caffeine.

These statements are based on traditional herbal use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

  • Is this the right one for me?

If you are thinking about your bones, getting ahead of bone loss, or noticing weaker nails and thinning hair, this is the blend built for that. It is an Ayurvedic formula focused on the silica, minerals and traditional bone herbs your body uses to keep its structure strong. The nail and hair benefits are not a side effect, they are part of the same work happening underneath.

If you are in perimenopause or menopause and bone loss is part of a bigger picture of symptoms, hot flashes, sleep, mood, our Ayurvedic Menopause Tea is built specifically for that transition. This bone blend and the Menopause Tea are not competing, many women drink both. One works on the symptoms, this one works on the structure.

If what drew you here was nails, hair and looking younger rather than bone density specifically, our Better Than Botox Tea is the better starting point. It is built around collagen and skin support rather than skeletal strength.

  • Who should skip this one?

Not recommended if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are on medications without checking with your healthcare provider first.

If you have a surgery scheduled, stop drinking this blend at least two weeks before your procedure and let your surgical team know what herbs you have been taking.

This blend contains red clover, which has phytoestrogenic properties. If you have a hormone-sensitive condition, including hormone-sensitive cancers, endometriosis or uterine fibroids, check with your doctor before drinking this regularly.

This blend contains horsetail and dandelion, both with mild diuretic properties. If you take a prescription diuretic or blood pressure medication, or have kidney problems, talk to your doctor before drinking this one. Because of the horsetail, do not drink this blend continuously for months without breaks.

This blend contains a trace of caffeine from green tea, worth noting if you are sensitive to caffeine.

What Customers Ask Us About This Tea

It can, when the herbs are chosen for it, and this blend is built around exactly those. Horsetail and nettle are among the richest plant sources of silica, the mineral that supports the collagen framework bone is built on. Hadjod and arjuna are traditional Ayurvedic bone herbs, used for generations specifically to support bone strength and skeletal health. Red clover is here for the bone loss that accelerates during menopause, when estrogen decline causes women to lose bone density faster than at any other time in their lives. Hawthorn berry supports circulation, because bones depend on good blood flow to receive the minerals they need.

It is not a calcium pill and it is not an overnight fix. It is steady daily support for the slow work of keeping bones strong as you age, with stronger nails and healthier hair as the part you actually notice in the mirror.

This is a fair worry, and the short answer is no, not the way people think. The old concern came from very high caffeine intake and from heavily fluoridated tea interfering with how the body handles minerals. This blend is herb-forward with only a trace of caffeine from a little green tea, so that is not the issue here. If anything, the research on tea and bone density in older adults leans gently positive, and the herbs in this cup, horsetail, nettle, hadjod, were specifically chosen to supply the silica and minerals bone is built from. Drunk as a normal daily cup, this supports your bones rather than working against them.

Horsetail is the silica star of this blend, and silica is what connects all three. Your body uses silica to build and maintain collagen, the framework that bone, nails and hair are all built on. That is exactly why one tea can support all three at once. They share the same structural raw material. Traditional herbalists have used horsetail for bones and connective tissue for a very long time and modern interest in it centers on that silica content. Not a magic fix, but as a steady source it is a gentle food-like way to support your body's structure.

Nails and hair are where you will likely notice something first, often over a couple of months of consistent use, because they turn over faster than bone does. Bone support is a much longer and quieter process that you build over time rather than feel week to week.

Because this blend contains horsetail, drink it in cycles rather than continuously. Three weeks on, one full week off, then repeat. Horsetail is not recommended for unbroken daily use over months. If you have kidney issues or take a diuretic or blood pressure medication, check with your doctor before starting.
