What Our Laguna Beach Customers Ask Us About This Tea

  • Why does this tea work?

Butterfly pea flower has traditionally been used for its cooling and calming properties, to support healthy blood pressure and blood sugar regulation, and for nourishing hair and skin both internally as a tea and externally as a rinse.

Its concentration of anthocyanins runs through all of these uses and gives it a real foundation in both traditional practice and emerging research.

  • How do I use this tea?

Mild, lightly earthy, subtle floral note, almost no bitterness.

Gentle enough that most people add lemon or honey, both of which complement it well. Lemon also triggers the color shift to violet.

One teaspoon of whole dried flowers per eight ounces of water at 212 degrees, steeped five to seven minutes.

Make a blue vanilla latte with it!

  • Can I boost the benefits of this tea?

Butterfly Pea Flower + Rose Petals

Butterfly pea flower brings concentrated antioxidant support while rose petals support emotional balance and healthy skin from within.

Antioxidant protection and nervous system calm in one cup, and it looks as good as it works.

  • Who should use extra caution?

Not recommended during pregnancy or nursing.

If you are on blood pressure or blood sugar medication, check with your doctor before using it regularly as the combination may produce a stronger effect than intended.
