All Natural Thai Tea

$7.00

BLACK TEA | MODERATE CAFFEINE | ALL NATURAL

The Thai tea you know is very good. It is also artificially colored and flavored and we would not do that. So ours is all-natural with black tea and star anise, and it gets close. Not identical, and we are not going to pretend otherwise, but close enough to satisfy a Thai tea craving.

Sold in 1 oz quantities. Makes 6-10 cups of tea.

Ingredients

black tea, star anise, all natural flavors

From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

Our favorite way to drink it is the classic way, and we hand the method to customers every chance we get. Brew it strong, add a splash of evaporated milk and then sweetened condensed milk, and pour it over plenty of ice. If this one speaks to you, Pink Chai is the other deeply personal blend we carry, our Amma Amma's recipe and the tea that started everything, and Kolkata Teen Paan Chai is the next bold spiced black tea with a regional story. This one is personal to us.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz, 212°F, steep 3 to 5 minutes. Black tea needs the full boil.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 8 to 12 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
