From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

When people ask what our most popular herbal tea is, we point at this one. It's also in our in our Simply the Best gift box, alongside the two other bestsellers. This tea never comes off the list.

Many herbal teas can go thin over ice. This one doesn't, which is why it's the one we cold brew for ourselves once the weather turns.

The other two we send out for a pool day: Purple Papaya Punch brews purple and turns pink when you squeeze a lemon into it, which is the one kids ask for by name, and Pina Colada goes creamy and tropical on pineapple and coconut. All three are in our Fruity Loose Leaf Tea collection.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz, 212°F, steep 5 to 10 minutes. Herbal blends need the full boil and a long steep.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 10 to 14 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!

Beyond the Cup: Make Something Tasty with This Berry Lemonade Tea

Berry Lemonade Iced Tea

Serves 4

A vibrant iced tea blending Pomegranate Lemon and Raspberry Lemonade teas with a fresh berry-lemon puree — bright, fruity, and refreshing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tsp Pomegranate Lemon Organic Black Tea
  • 3 tsp Raspberry Lemonade Organic Tea
  • 2 to 4 tbsp cane sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and extra berries, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water and remove it from the heat. Add the pomegranate lemon tea and the raspberry lemonade tea. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. While the tea is cooling, blend the mixed berries until smooth. Strain the berry puree into a pitcher to remove the seeds, then add the fresh lemon juice.
  3. Stir in sugar to sweeten the mixture. Start with 2 tablespoons and adjust to your taste.
  4. Pour the cooled tea into the pitcher with the berry-lemon mixture and give it a good stir to combine all the flavors.
  5. When you're ready to serve, fill your glasses with ice cubes. Pour the berry lemonade tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and a few berries.
