Calm without the fog. Most calming herbs bring some heaviness. Lemon balm quiets a busy mind without dulling it, which is why it's been used for focus by day and sleep by night across European and Ayurvedic traditions*. Bright, lemony, caffeine-free.
Sold in 1 oz quantities. Makes 6-10 cups of tea.

What Our Laguna Beach Customers Ask Us About This Tea
Why does this tea work?
Primarily a nervine herb, meaning it works through the nervous system to ease tension, calm anxiety, and quiet a busy mind without sedation.
In the evening it supports restful sleep driven by an overactive mind.
During the day it supports calm mental clarity, with its rosmarinic acid content and GABA-supporting activity behind both effects.
Also used traditionally for digestive comfort, particularly nausea and digestive tension with a nervous system component.
How do I use this tea?
Pale golden, bright, clean lemon fragrance, gently sweet with no bitterness.
One of the easiest herbs in the collection to drink without sweetener.
One teaspoon per eight ounces of water at 212 degrees, steeped five to seven minutes.
Also works well cold brewed overnight in the refrigerator for a lighter, more delicate cup.
Can I boost the benefits of this tea?
Lemon Balm + Chamomile
Lemon balm eases mental restlessness while chamomile supports the body's physical readiness for relaxation. Calm from both directions without either herb feeling heavy.
Works equally well in the afternoon for stress or in the evening for sleep.
Who should use extra caution?
If you have hypothyroidism or take thyroid medication, avoid lemon balm. Research shows it can inhibit TSH and suppress thyroid function in a clinically meaningful way.
If you take sedative medications including prescription sleep aids or anti-anxiety medications, use with caution as it can enhance their effects.
There is also evidence of interaction with HIV antiretroviral medications, so speak with your doctor if that applies to you.
Not recommended in therapeutic amounts during pregnancy.
