Unlock the Full Benefit of this Tea

Brew it hot and keep the cup covered. This is a root blend with turmeric, devil's claw, and ginger. Roots need real heat, 200 to 212°F, to release their active compounds. Covering the cup while it steeps keeps the volatile oils in your cup where they belong.

Add a splash of coconut milk or a little ghee. Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, needs a healthy fat to actually absorb into your body. Without it, most of it passes right through you. This is the step most people miss, and it makes a real difference.

Time it right. Morning after breakfast and again around 2 to 3pm when joints tend to feel tightest and energy dips. That afternoon window is when your body is working hardest. Two to three cups a day for four to eight weeks during active support, then three to four times a week to maintain. Consistency is what moves the needle with this one.

This is one of our stronger functional blends and it is meant to be used with intention, not forever without a break. Learn exactly why in Why I Tell Every Customer to Take a Break From Their Wellness Tea.

The tea does more when you make other small shifts like a pinch of Celtic salt in your water, a short walk after dinner, protein at breakfast before your blood sugar spikes. • Why does this tea work?

Turmeric root: the cornerstone. It contains curcumin, the compound studied most for supporting a healthy inflammation response and joint comfort. It works best with a little warmth and fat, more on that below.

Ginger root: a warming root traditionally used to ease muscle soreness, support circulation and keep joints feeling mobile. It pairs naturally with turmeric.

Devil's claw root: a traditional African herb with one of the longer track records for supporting joint comfort and easy movement. It is a big part of why this blend leans serious.

Tulsi (holy basil): an adaptogen that helps the body handle stress. Since stress is one of the biggest drivers of ongoing inflammation, tulsi is foundational here, not a filler.

Burdock root: traditionally used to support the body's own natural elimination and liver function, giving inflammation a way out rather than just sitting in the body.

Cinnamon: blood sugar spikes trigger an inflammatory response in the body. Cinnamon has been used traditionally to support steadier blood sugar, which is why it belongs in an inflammation blend and not just a chai.

Dandelion root: supports healthy liver function and bile flow, and brings minerals along with it.

Licorice root: a soothing root that supports digestive comfort and helps harmonize the stronger herbs so the blend drinks smoothly.

Orange peel: a little brightness and vitamin C to lift the earthy roots.

Peppermint leaf: a cooling, settling note that balances all those warming roots.

These statements are based on traditional herbal use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

  • Is this the right one for me?

If you want our most serious, herb-forward inflammation blend and you care more about how you feel than how the cup tastes, this is the one. It is built for steady daily support, with ten roots and herbs doing the work.

If you want inflammation support but you also want something you genuinely look forward to sipping, look at our flavor-forward options in the same collection. Golden Citrus Ginger is bright and easy drinking, Turmeric Chai and Jaipur Turmeric Masala Chai give you that warm spiced cup, and Soothing Turmeric Tea is the gentle caffeine-free one we suggest for the evening wind-down.

And if you want to go all in on turmeric itself, our Therapeutic Turmeric pairs with this tea for the full daily ritual. Pick Inflammation Fighter when results are the priority, pick the others when flavor leads.

  • Who should skip this one?

Not recommended if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are on medications without checking with your healthcare provider first.

This blend contains licorice root, which can raise blood pressure and lower potassium if you drink a lot of it over time, so go easy on it if you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney concerns, and check with your doctor first.

It also contains devil's claw, which is traditionally avoided in pregnancy and can interact with blood thinners and some heart and stomach medications, so talk to your doctor before drinking this one if any of that applies to you.

If you are scheduled for surgery, stop drinking this tea at least two weeks beforehand. Both turmeric and devil's claw can affect bleeding and may interact with anesthesia.

What Customers Ask Us About This Tea

Turmeric, ginger, tulsi and devil's claw have all been used for a long time to support joint comfort and a healthy inflammation response, and turmeric and ginger in particular are two of the most studied herbs in this whole space. What makes Inflammation Fighter different from a basic turmeric ginger tea is that we built around those two and added eight more roots and herbs that each address a different piece of the picture. Ten organic herbs, so that you are not leaning on a single one. This is the strongest, most herb-forward blend we make for inflammation, built for people who want steady daily support rather than a tea built for taste.

Earthy and warming, with a real root bitterness that we are not going to pretend away, brightened by orange peel and cooled by peppermint. This loose leaf blend is made for results first and flavor second, so it is bolder and more bitter than our chai or citrus blends. A little raw honey stirred in after brewing rounds it out nicely if you want to soften it.

For most people, yes, daily use is fine, and one to two cups a day is a common everyday amount. Turmeric and ginger are considered safe in the kinds of amounts you get from tea, with side effects being rare and usually mild stomach upset if you drink too much. The honest caveats live in the section above on who should skip this one, mainly around the licorice and devil's claw, so if you are pregnant, on blood thinners or other medications, or managing blood pressure, check with your doctor first.

Most people start noticing shifts in joint comfort and energy within about two to four weeks of drinking it consistently. We usually suggest a four to eight week support stretch for meaningful changes, then easing into a maintenance routine. Herbs work gradually and build on each other, so steady daily cups matter more than any single strong one.
