GREEN TEA | LOW CAFFEINE | JUICY & FLORAL

Lychee tastes like a fruit and a flower at the same time. The rose petals are blended to enhance, so the cup has a cohesive fruity and floral taste and aroma. You'll smell it before you taste it, and what you taste is juicy and floral together, with the green tea clean and bright enough that nothing feels heavy. This is truly a juicy cup of tea.

From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

Over the years we have noticed how often our Asian customers go straight for this one. Many of them grew up with lychee and love it, so the tea catches their eye right away. For plenty of our other customers it is their first encounter with lychee, and that is one of our favorite introductions to make.

Once someone finds out how well lychee and rose go together, they usually want to know what else we have, and that is when we show them Cherry Blossom Rose for the floral side or Lychee Rose Organic for the same pairing in a richer black tea. Not a bad way to meet a fruit.

  • How to brew it hot

Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Heat your water to 175-180°F and steep for 2-3 minutes. Green tea turns bitter when the water runs too hot.

  • How to make iced tea

Use 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Heat your water to 175-180°F and steep for 2-3 minutes, then pour over a full glass of ice. The extra leaf keeps the cup from thinning out as the ice melts.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water. Steep in your fridge for 3 to 6 hours. Strain out the leaves and enjoy! Cold water pulls a smoother cup with no bitterness.
