HERBAL TEA | CAFFEINE FREE | ORGANIC | FRUITY & BOLD

Brew it and you get a red the color of cranberry juice. But it tastes the way berries do right at the edge of ripe, tart first with something darker behind it from the elderberry. There's no caffeine, so the kids drink it as often as the adults do.

Sold in 1 oz quantities. Each oz makes 6 to 10 cups of tea.

Ingredients

organic elderberry, organic currants, organic hibiscus petals, all natural flavors

Tales from Our Laguna Beach Shop About This Tea

Here's a little secret, there is a candy drawer in this shop for people who work here. This is the tea that keeps us out of it. It is fruity enough to read as a treat rather than a cup of tea. As we joke among ourselves and with our customers, a tea habit is easier to deal with than a candy habit!

This one is a favorite for kids too. We've been told by customers that some kiddos eat the berries instead of straining them out.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz of water at 212°F, steeped 5 to 10 minutes. Fruit and flower blends need the full boil to open up.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 10 to 14 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
