Marshmallow Root Herbal Ice Cubes
Makes about 12 ice cubes
A soothing cold-infused marshmallow root concentrate, frozen into cubes for an easy way to add gentle, calming hydration to your favorite drinks.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Tea & Turmeric Marshmallow Root
- 2 cups cold filtered water
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions
- Place the marshmallow root and cold water in a glass jar or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours, or overnight.
- Strain the infusion through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth, pressing gently on the root to extract the liquid. Stir in the honey, if using, until dissolved.
- Pour the infusion into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
- Transfer the frozen cubes to a freezer-safe container or bag and store for up to 3 months.
How to Enjoy
Drop one or two cubes into:
- Hot herbal tea
- Warm lemon water
- Sparkling water
- Iced tea
- Smoothies
Allow the cubes to melt naturally, or stir until dissolved.
