Soothing Turmeric Tea Organic

$8.00

ROOIBOS TEA | CAFFEINE FREE | ORGANIC | GOLDEN & SPICED

This is the one we hand people working on inflammation who still want to enjoy the cup. Rooibos gives it a nutty, warm base and pulls double duty, because it's anti-inflammatory in its own right alongside the turmeric. Call it a two-for-one. There's enough black pepper in here to activate the turmeric, and bee pollen finishes it with a honey note. People drink this one because they like it, which is the part that keeps them drinking it.

Sold in 1 oz quantities. Each ounce makes 6 to 10 cups of tea.

Ingredients

organic rooibos, organic turmeric, organic ginger, organic black pepper, organic honey bush, organic bee pollen, organic cinnamon

From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

This one is for the folks who want to enjoy their tea and work on inflammation at the same time. Blended with rooibos, this one works overtime on the inflammation fighting. It started as one of our longtime classics, and we rebuilt it a while back, adding bee pollen and tuning the recipe until it was the version we had been after. Longtime customers still recognize it.

The other two herbal turmerics go in different directions. Golden Citrus Ginger leans on ginger and citrus, and Turmeric Shot is packed with fruit pieces and tends to get picked on looks alone.

Half the shop's name is turmeric, so there's more where this came from. The full lineup is in our Turmeric Teas collection.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz, 212°F, steep 5 to 10 minutes. Rooibos and roots need the full boil and a long steep.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 10 to 14 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
