From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

This is the tea that sits between the two halves of our shop. People come in wanting ginger and turmeric for wellness reasons and still want something they'll enjoy drinking, and this is the one we hand them.

The other thing we say is don't rush it. This blend is built on roots, so give it five to ten minutes to open up properly.

If you want more turmeric in the rotation and you want it to taste good, Turmeric Shot and organic Soothing Turmeric are the two closest to this one. The Soothing one is blended with rooibos, which is anti-inflammatory in its own right alongside the turmeric.

Turmeric is in our name, so we take it seriously, and our whole turmeric tea lineup is in our Turmeric Teas collection.

  • How to brew it hot

1 teaspoon per 8 oz of water at 212°F, steeped 5 to 10 minutes. Roots take longer than leaves, so give it the full ten minutes.

  • How to make iced tea

2 teaspoons per 8 oz, same water and steep time, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength so the ice doesn't dilute it.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 10 to 14 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
