From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

Lisa was one of our regulars before she moved to Maine, and this has always been her tea. She still orders close to a pound every few months, because she drinks it iced all year, straight through a Maine winter. We keep it in stock partly because we know she will be back. When someone falls for the coconut and wants it in a completely different style of tea, Other popular fruity oolong are Peachy Keen Oolong and Passionfruit Oolong.

  • How to brew it hot

Use 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of water at 195 degrees. Steep 3 to 5 minutes. Oolong takes hotter water and a longer steep than green tea.

  • How to make iced tea

Use 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of water at 195 degrees. Steep 3 to 5 minutes and pour over a full glass of ice. The extra leaf covers what the ice waters down.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 6 to 8 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
