Vanilla Black Tea

$7.00

BLACK TEA | MODERATE CAFFEINE | CREAMY & VANILLA

This is an easy tea to underestimate. It's black tea and vanilla, nothing else, so you smell the vanilla before you pour and taste it warm all the way down. Then it turns into the one you make on a Tuesday without deciding to. Quiet on the shelf. Hard to give up.

Sold in 1 oz quantities. Makes 6-10 cups of tea.

Ingredients

black teas, all natural vanilla flavor

From Our Laguna Beach Tea Shop

People pick this one up expecting exactly what it says, and they're right. That's not the interesting part. The interesting part is how often they come back for it, surprised that the plain one turned into the everyday one. It's the quietest thing on our shelf and the one people miss most when they run out. We stopped being surprised a while ago.

If Vanilla Black has you wanting more, Teatime in Paris takes that same softness and adds black currant and caramel for a Parisian twist. And if you want something warm and cozy without the caffeine, Honeybush Hazelnut is the evening cup to try next.

  • How to brew it hot

Use 1 teaspoon per 8 oz. Steep at 212°F for 3-5 minutes. A full boil gets the most out of the leaf.

  • How to make iced tea

Use 2 teaspoons per 8 oz. Steep at 212°F for 3-5 minutes, then pour over a full glass of ice. Double strength keeps the ice from watering it down.

  • How to cold brew

Use 1.5 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of filtered water.
Steep in your fridge for 8 to 12 hours.
Strain out the leaves and enjoy!
A long cold steep gives you a smoother cup.
